Our Process
We specialize in test and repair of legacy and current generation telecom products.
• Our focus technology set is Optical, Switching, Wireless, Data and Access Equipment.
• Our service level options include: advanced exchange, 10 day, 20 day and replacement services.

• All repair is performed to IPC Rework specifications and inspected to IPC610.
• Our repair is backed with a 1 year warranty.
Inbound Tracking
All material is tracked by part, lot serial number and release. Repeat repairs are flagged on incoming receipt by Serial number. Cards are sent to production on individual work orders and tracked through all work centers.
Physical Inspection and Cleaning
All cards, frames and bays are physically inspected for, corrosion, damage, missing components, pad damage, de-laminating, gasket seals, latches and catches. Interconnects are then cleaned and/or scoped (fiber, connectors, pins). Wiring and harnesses are inspected for jacket stretching, corrosion and continuity.
System and Card Level Test
All cards, frames and bays are tested for continuity, bit error, loop back, power in/out, fiber cut and forced switch. Dithering cards are soaked for eight hours to recreate errors and tests are performed to A class installation procedure on SLAT.
Card Level Debug
Cards that fail system tests are physically debugged for loss of circuit continuity or power/signal degradation or loss. Component level failures are then debugged for physical replacement or repair.
Physical Repair
The physical repair consists of component replacement to IPC 610 class II, as well as ROHS or Non ROHS (Leaded) and BGA bumping and replacement (outsourced).
Packaging, Warehousing, and Distribution
All material is packaged to OEM standards (ESD, Anti-Static). Material is stocked by part, serial and barcode. Finished goods are segregated from feed stock and RMA stock. Renaissance currently has 37 global storage locations (partnered with UPS).
Reporting
We offer full reporting on Repair including fault diagnosis, repeat offenders, volumes and billing.
